today
today was a great day. I woke up around 7:30 for class and ate breakfast then I went to my modern drama class and discussed harold pinter. then I had an hour break in which my friend azzurra and I searched the kitchen for something substantial for lunch then proceeded to go to our art class. we then went to class where we discussed the paintings from our previous class and then went (once again) to the national gallery. once there, we studied thr works of turner, monet, and van gogh. as well as george stubbs (quite briefly though—azzurra and I were late). I discovered that I like the impressionism of an earlier turner, and love pretty much all of monet and van gogh’s works. then I got to meet Azzurra’s dad which was nice. Then I went home, watched gossip girl and took a nap. then I read for humanities and went to dinner at a delicious place called da marios or something.. I had a mediterranean salad. then we came back, drank beer in the backyard etc. love life.. and london!
